CORNELIA ÖHLUND

Hi, I am Cornelia Öhlund.

I'm an Alpine ski Racer from the Swedish ski resort Åre. 

I have for as long as I can remember loved skiing and doing my outmost to one day become a professional skier and stand at the top of the podium as one of the best skiers in the World.

I moved with my family to Åre when I was 10 years old and have been training and competing for Åre Alpine Ski Club since then.

I have been a part of the Swedish National Ski Team since spring 2022 and made my world cup deput in Levi 2023.

My merits:

• Four Junior World Championships medals, two of which were gold.

• 11th place at the 2025 World Championships in Saalbach – best Swede in slalom 

• Five top ten results in the World Cup, including a 5th place as best

• Represented Sweden at international championships; Olympics, World Championships and JVM

• Ranked 12th in the world in slalom.

One of the highlights of my career so far  was the Olympics in Milan Cortina where I came close to winning a medal in the slalom. I was 3rd after the first run, but broke my pole halfway into the second run. But that's part of the sport, things happen, and hopefully it will work out next time and I'll win a medal. Even though my Olympic debut ended with a pole break and then a run-out, I see it as a positive experience as my highest level is high enough to compete for medals in a championship like the Olympics.
